We're Hiring: Two Summer Contract Positions

Updated: Jun 11, 2020

It's gonna be a busy and exciting summer for Resource Movement... and we're looking for two great folks, one Toronto-based and one Montreal-based, to be a part of this work!

Thanks to financial support from the Canada Summer Jobs program (which we're supplementing to offer each position a true living wage), we are hiring for two summer contract positions. See below for short descriptions of these roles, along with a link to the detailed job posting for each position:

National Gathering Event Coordinator - Montreal

(full posting here - in English) (Full Posting here - in French)

For the third year in a row, we'll be hosting a National Member Gathering in late August. The event provides an opportunity Resource Movement members to connect, learn, and strategize together - and we need someone awesome to help us make it happen! While the gathering normally happens in person, this year, due to COVID-19, the National Gathering will happen virtually. We're looking for a National Gathering Event Coordinator who who loves coordinating complex events, has a knack for making online gatherings work, and who wants to support a growing national movement. Note: Only candidates based in Montreal or surrounding area are eligible to apply for this position, based on CSJ funding guidelines.

Member Engagement & Communications Coordinator - Toronto

As our membership continues to grow, we want to create space for everyone involved in Resource Movement to meaningfully shape the direction of our work. This Member Engagement & Communications Coordinator will coordinate our annual "member drive", during which we connect with each and every Resource Member, and get their input on how we should shape and expand our work. This role is a great opportunity for a young person with strong people skills, who loves coordinating detailed projects, and who has a flare for supporting member engagement. Note: Only candidates based in Toronto or surrounding area are eligible to apply for this position, based on CSJ funding guidelines.

The application deadline for both positions positions is Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 10am EST.

Please share these opportunities far and wide! And if you think you might be interested in applying, please don't be shy about getting in touch.
