🗓️ Tuesday, April 9 | 7 PM Eastern / 4 PM Pacific | Online | Free to attend

We’re thrilled to invite you to this year’s Groundswell Giving Circle panel and fundraising event—an evening of powerful dialogue, collective reflection, and action.

Hosted by Resource Movement, in collaboration with the Groundswell Fund, this event brings together movement leaders, organizers, and funders to ask:

  • What does it take to win—and to fund—real change?

  • How do we ensure grassroots movements have the resources they need to thrive?

Panelists

Deena Ladd – Toronto Workers' Action Centre Elene Lam – Butterfly: Asian and Migrant Sex Workers Support Network Kimalee Phillip – Groundswell Fund board member

Each of these speakers brings deep experience on organizing at the intersections of labour, gender, racial justice, and migrant rights. Together, we’ll explore what it means to move resources into the hands of those most impacted by injustice—and why Groundswell’s model of movement-led philanthropy matters more than ever.

After the panel, we’ll shift from conversation to action with a live fundraiser for the Groundswell Fund, which moves resources directly to grassroots organizations led by women, gender-diverse folks, Black and racialized people, Indigenous communities, and others organizing at the margins.

This event is free and open to all. ASL interpretation will be provided.

We hope you’ll join us to learn, reflect, and recommit to resourcing movements that are building a better world—for all of us.
